Shining a spotlight on women's health

Since the first 10-year plan for women's health in England was launched in 2022, awareness of the many barriers that women face accessing basic services in the NHS to manage largely predictable health events has increased.

Progress has been made, some barriers have been removed, but the healthcare system needs to go further and faster.

Inequalities in women's health still exist - women spend more years in ill health than men, despite living longer - and the wealthiest 10% of women live almost 10 years longer than the poorest 10%, while the most deprived spend over a third of their lives in bad health.

Primary care is responsible for the identification, assessment, and long-term management of the majority of women's health related chronic conditions and are the principal reasons for women seeking general practice consultations.

Since its launch in 2022, Women's Health Professional Care has established itself as the leading event for advancing the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of the most prevalent women's health-related conditions in the UK.

Co-located with Best Practice London, the Women's Health Professional Care exhibition and conference delivers specialist depth in women's health.

Whether you're a healthcare leader, women's health clinician, or healthcare supplier, it's your opportunity to witness the latest advancements in women's health, meet with colleagues and peers, and get the latest CPD updates on the most prevalent clinical areas, delivered by an expansive faculty of expert speakers.
